MADISON COUNTY, Ind. -- Drivers in Madison County should expect traffic delays on I-69 Friday afternoon because of the Vice President Pence's visit.
Pence is returning home to Indiana to push the tax reform plan during a stop in Anderson.
Madison County Emergency Management officials say Pence's motorcade will travel along I-69 and then into Anderson, likely causing traffic backups if not stand-stills.
Emergency Management officials say drivers should seek an alternate route to avoid any delays in their commute.

Pence will arrive in Indianapolis around noon before traveling to Anderson where he will give a speech at the Flagship Enterprise Center.
Pence's speech about tax reform is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. He will be joined by Gov. Eric Holcomb, Senator Joe Donnelly, Congresswoman Susan Brooks, Congressman Luke Messer and Congressman Todd Rokit
