Two arrested following Indianapolis chase

INDIANAPOLIS -- Two people are in custody following a police chase that covered about four miles on busy Indianapolis streets Friday afternoon.

The chase began near North Keystone Avenue and East 30th. Street and ended at West 26th. and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Street.

There, the vehicle slammed into the abandoned Down Home Cookin restaurant, causing a good deal of damage to the building.

During the chase, two police cars were hit.

Police say the suspects will face drug charges and charges related to the chase.

The police officers in the cars that were hit were not injured.
