INDIANAPOLIS -- Vegetable trays sent to select stores in Indiana are being recalled because of a possible health risk for an intestinal parasite.
Del Monte Fresh Produce issued a voluntary recall Monday for some 6 oz., 12 oz. and 20 oz. vegetable trays containing fresh broccoli, cauliflower, celery sticks, carrots and dill dip after being notified that those products could be linked to a recent cluster of illnesses and have the potential to be contaminated with Cyclospora, a parasite that can cause intestinal illness.

The products were sold at stores in Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota and Wisconsin.
The recalled products were distributed for sale in clear plastic containers to Kwik Trip, Kwik Star, Demond's, Sentry, Potash, Meehan's, Country Market, Food Max Supermarket and Peapod locations in the affected states and have a "Best If Enjoyed By" date of June 17, 2018 or earlier.

According to the Centers for Disease Control, the infection usually is not life-threatening. Symptoms include watery diarrhea, loss of appetite, weight loss, cramping, bloating, increased gas, nausea and fatigue.
The FDA says consumers who have purchased the recalled trays should throw them away immediately.
