INDIANAPOLIS -- Police are still searching for a man who stole a vehicle from a house on Indianapolis' north side.
The incident happened Saturday evening, at a house near the intersection of 56th and Rural streets.
Beau Roth, 21, was the only person home when he noticed his mother's car was gone. He noticed the front door and garage door were open.
"I thought that my mom had come in in a rush and her car wasn't here," Roth said.
When she came home later that night and asked where her car was, reality set in.
"She was like, 'Oh my God, my car's been stolen,'" Roth said.
They checked their security cameras to see a man wearing black come in through an unlocked door and grab an antique gun before spotting Roth's mom's keys and stealing her car.
Neighbors also said they saw the man earlier that day.
The vehicle had a tracker, so police were able to get it back, but now they're hoping somebody will recognize the thief and turn him in.
