INDIANAPOLIS -- An Indianapolis woman who received a $5,000 bill from Citizens Energy, for water used while she was out of town got that bill adjusted on Tuesday.
Dorothy Feibleman called Citizens in December and told them to turn off the mains, but it was never turned off, she said.
She then received a bill for $5,276. And last week, her water was turned off.
Citizens Energy contacted Dorothy after RTV6 got involved and said they have cleared her bill down to zero and they cannot figure out why it was ever $5,000.
