INDIANAPOLIS – The body of a woman was found in an alley on the city’s west side Monday.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police said the body was found by a neighbor in an alley in the 3100 block of Concord Court around 7:30 a.m.
Ce Ce, the neighbor who found the body, said she'd seen the woman before near a vacant home in the area.
“I ran in the house and grabbed my phone. I couldn't even dial 911 fast enough,” she said. “When I dialed it, I wasn't no good. I had just seen her four days ago.”
The victim has been identified as Phillisa Ealy, 35. Homicide detectives said there was no obvious sign of how she died. It will be up to the Marion Co. Coroner to determine the cause of death.
