INDIANAPOLIS – Billboards aren’t just made for advertisements – they’re made for showcasing the work of some of the state’s artists.

High Art, a project between the Arts Council of Indianapolis and Fairway Outdoor, prints the works of 10 Indiana artists and displays them in billboard format throughout Indianapolis and surrounding cities.

The 10 pieces are rotated between various locations as sites open within the regular advertising schedule. The first round of art was displayed in 2013.

Several of the 2017-2018 billboards have been placed throughout the city. You can vote for your favorite here.
