WHITE COUNTY, Ind. -- Dozens of kids are enjoying fun and games this week at Camp Tecumseh in White County.

It's a camp just like any other - but with one difference. All the children who attend are burn survivors.

Camp Tecumseh has been around since 1997. Their goal is to help Hoosier children feel comfortable and confident in their own skin.

"I kind of isolated myself from the outside world because I didn't want to be criticized or made fun of so for the first half of my life I just stayed away from people," said burn survivor Daniel Lynch.

This year 65 kids are attending Camp Tecumseh.

The burn camp's programs are open to any young person in Indiana who has been hospitalized with burn injuries.
