INDIANAPOLIS -- INDOT has announced the communities that will receive millions of dollars in matching grants for transportation projects this year.
The town of Avon will receive $1 million to help offset some of the cost of building a new roundabout and bridge on Avon Avenue. The city of Carmel will also receive $1 million to help with the construction of its own roundabout at 4th Street and Rangeline Road.
Fishers will also receive $1 million for improvements on 116th Street between Eller Road and I-69.
