INDIANAPOLIS -- The prime suspect in the Indy 500 Coke lot murder could take a plea deal Wednesday.
Avory Johnson is scheduled to be in court for his pre-trial conference. If no deal is reached, his trial with start Monday.
Johnson is charged with murder and carrying a handgun without a license. Johnson is accused of killing 25-year-old Max Levine on May 24 at the Coke Lot at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Johnson was arrested shortly after the shooting, but was released.

At the time, the prosecutor's office declined to file charges because of how the Speedway Police Department obtained evidence.
Eventually, those problems were resolved and Johnson was arrested.
