INDIANAPOLIS -- Department of Public Works crews have been hard at work repairing potholes in Marion County – even as hundreds of complaints remain on their to-do list.
The city of Indianapolis is asking that those requests keep coming in to the Mayor's Action Line.
Right now, DPW is looking at close to 800 requests for repair. According to the agency, 16 to 17 crews have been out daily this year to fill those potholes.
They are still using a more temporary cold mix for patch jobs. The plan is to transition to hot mix as soon as weather allows.
City officials say requests are down by more than 2,000 from this time last year.
