INDIANAPOLIS – Every year, one Indianapolis man dedicates 12 hours of his day to those killed in the 9/11 attacks by a simple wave of the American flag.
This year James Clark continued his 15-year tradition as he waved the US flag over the bridge on West 56th Street at the I-465 overpass.
As always, many drivers continued to honk in recognition.
“There are a lot of patriots in the country whether we stand up and post a flag on 9/11 or not. There’s a heartfelt emotion about what we’ve gone through in this country within the last decade and a half,” said Clark.
Clark encourages those who would also like to make a difference, to donate to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
