INDIANAPOLIS -- With snow in the forecast overnight, the Indy Snow Force will be out in force.

The DPW says 40 drivers will be activated at 11 p.m. Thursday.

Their plan is to keep main thoroughfares clear for the morning drive.

They will also be monitoring bridges, overpasses and areas where slick spots can develop as temperatures drop.

In the meantime, DPW crews are dealing with the result of snow and ice.

They were out on Thursday, as they have been all week, filling potholes.

The DPW says only about 200 requests to fill potholes are still open.
