INDIANAPOLIS -- The Indianapolis Zoo has been named one of the best zoos in the United States.
Conde Nast Traveler released their list of the 10 best zoos this week and the Indianapolis Zoo took the number two spot behind the famous San Diego Zoo in California.
Conde Nast based their ranking on the Indy Zoo’s unique experiences calling it the “only place in the region where you can swim with dolphins.”
The Indianapolis Zoo is also the only park in America that’s certified as a zoo, aquarium and a zoological garden.
Earlier this year the Indianapolis Zoo was named one of the best zoos for orangutans by Zoophoria.net.
