Indy's cocktail tour features 20 bars and restaurants within four downtown districts

Posted

INDIANAPOLIS – Indy offers a handful of tours from biking, walking and art, but now the city can add a cocktail tour to that list as well.

For the second year, Mixture, an Indianapolis Cocktail Tour, will feature 20 bars serving sample cocktails throughout downtown Indy Sept 16-17 from 5:30-10 p.m.

So how does it work?

The tour will begin on Georgia Street with food vendors and live music where you will receive a cocktail tour passport filled with Indiana breweries and restaurants to visit and a transportation pass.

From there, you’ll bar and restaurant hop using transportation provided by Indy Brew Bus to the 20 different locations throughout the four downtown districts – Wholesale (Rye and Bourbon), Mass Ave (Bourbon and Rum), Fletcher Place (Rum and Gin) and Fountain Square (Tequila and Wildcard).

Some of the participating locations include: Harry & Izzy’s, Plat 99, Black Market, Louie’s Wine Dive, Union 50, Rook, Milktooth, Thunderbird and more.

You can view all of the locations at the bottom of this story.

Tickets are $50 per person, per night or $85 for two nights per person.

Purchase tickets at IndyMixture.com. All guests must be 21 years older.
