It’s time to get back into the swing of things – September is here and kids are heading back to school which means you may be looking for ways to fit in a little more family time.

The folks over at Indy with Kids have put together a great list of things the entire family can do for each day of September.

“We look for things that are affordable or free, things that even a stay-at-home dad can do with his kids," said Katy Mann, creator of Indy with Kids.

Their list includes some fun things to do this Labor Day weekend – like a movie in the park in Noblesville hosted by the Noblesville Parks and Recreation Department.

ROC & ROW Festival in Broad Ripple is a celebration of the waterways and a great way to end the summer. It's on Monday, Sept. 4.

And later this month there’s even more, including the Carmel Apple Festival at Tuttle Orchards that begins on Sept. 10 or the Bicentennial Torch Relay in Avon on Sept. 23.

Whatever you and your kids enjoy to do, there’s something on this calendar for everyone. Indy with Kids puts out calendars every month so make sure to check them out on their website IndywithKids.com.
