IPS hosting meetings to get community input

Posted

INDIANAPOLIS -- IPS is hosting a series of town hall meetings to inform parents and hear their opinions.

At the first meeting, held Tuesday, school officials discussed a number of different ideas like moving middle-schoolers into separate buildings.

One of the biggest changes on the way is 100 new propane-fueled buses, complete with seatbelts.

Parents we talked to are encouraging others to attend future talks, and they will have plenty more opportunities to do so.

The next meeting is this Thursday at 6pm at St. Paul's Church on North Meridian Street.
