INDIANAPOLIS – An IPS substitute teacher gathered some of the students he teaches and mentors to create an inspirational video.
Tevin Studdard teaches at IPS School No. 31 on the city’s south side and mentors another group of students during an after school program with Indy Parks.
Studdard said he fell in love with music after his cousin Ruben Studdard won American Idol in 2003.
He and his students, along with Dream A.L.I.V.E. scholars from Arlington High School, created the music video, “I Will Change The World.”
“With all the negativity and violence taking place, I definitely feel this could breathe life into our cities youth,” said Tevin.
