INDIANAPOLIS -- A Cannelton, Indiana, man wanted on murder charges was arrested Monday afternoon in Hancock County, Kentucky.
Stacy Matheny, 47, of Cannelton, allegedly shot and killed 47-year-old Phillip Chase outside a home on the 4300 block of Bell Hollow Road just before noon Monday.
Matheny reportedly then left the scene driving a green 2001 Ford Explorer.
Police initially released an alert about Matheny, saying he should be considered armed and dangerous.
He was apprehended a short time later in Kentucky.
