INDIANAPOLIS -- Hungry? How about a juicy, delicious burger for just $5 this week?
It's Indy Burger Week, and with 50 participating restaurants around Indianapolis, it'll be easy to get your fix at lunch, dinner, or heck, even breakfast.
The celebration of all things burger isn't just a glutton-fest, it's a fundraiser for Second Helpings. Second Helpings helps prepare food and distribute it to 80 social service agencies around Indianapolis to feed those in need. Second Helpings also offers a culinary job training program for disadvantaged adults to help them obtain careers in the food service industry.
So grab a burger for cheap, maybe a beer, and don't feel guilty about it.
Indy Burger Week runs through June 24.
