INDIANAPOLIS – After the completion of nursing courses, students participate in a pinning ceremony, but in light of ITT Tech’s recent closure, a formal ceremony could not be held. This is why the school’s nursing students decided to hold their own.
The students invited their friends, family and former instructors to First Free Will Baptist Church for the ceremony.
One former instructor called the event an “tearful” experience.
“Because of everything that’s gone on, but I’m so proud of these students for doing this,” said Carol Korreck.
Other former instructors said they are proud of their students as well and wished them well on their job search.
