INDIANAPOLIS -- Students and faculty members at IUPUI are calling on the school's chancellor to help protect one of their own.
A Muslim student has been receiving threatening calls and messages claiming she supports terrorists.
Friday, several of the student's supporters held a press conference urging the school to act on the issue.
Thursday, more than 75 IUPUI faculty and staff members delivered a letter to the school's chancellor asking him to issue a public statement condemning the harassment happening on campus.
IUPUI'S chancellor told the supporters the school is investigating the issue, and says all forms of racism, bigotry and discrimination have no place on campus.
