FRANKLIN, Ind. -- An 11-year-old girl who attends Custer Baker Intermediate School in Franklin was suspended Wednesday after she reportedly made a "hit list".

Franklin Police Chief Tim O'Sullivan says the girl made the list of one dozen students and teachers she wanted to kill because they had upset her.

Another student told a teacher about the list. Chief O'Sullivan says the girl had no actual plan to make good on the threats.

The chief says the girl has been suspended for three days and is undergoing a mental health evaluation.

O'Sullivan says the department will present the case to the Johnson County Prosecutor for possible charges.
