GREENWOOD, Ind. -- A two-hour lockdown at Franciscan Health South Hospital has ended.
The lockdown went into effect at 3:43 p.m. at the hospital in the 8000 block of S. Emerson Ave., and it was lifted around 5:53 p.m.
Police set up a perimeter in the area as they looked for a shoplifter. He was not believed to be armed, according to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department
A lockdown meant all doors at the hospital were secured and were being monitored.
