GREENWOOD, Ind. -- Soaking in the last minutes of summer might mean a trip to the pool or a hike on your favorite trail. For others, “drinking in” sunshine might actually involve a beverage.
Bartender Lacey Dillow, from Bar Louie at the Greenwood Park Mall, has a suggestion: The Honey Dew.
It’s a combination of Cruzan Coconut Rum, Midori Melon Liqueur and pineapple juice. Two ounces each of the rum and liqueur, then top it off with the juice.
What makes this drink more summery than the rest? It’s bright green with a beachy aftertaste.
