FRANKLIN, Ind. -- One man was killed early Monday morning when his car ran off the road in Franklin.

Deputies with the Johnson County Sheriff's Office were called to the 4900 block of South Nineveh Road around 6 a.m.

They found an inverted 1988 Oldsmobile in a ditch on the west side of the road.

The driver had been ejected and was found about 30 yards north of his car.

Deputies say the Oldsmobile was headed north on Nineveh Road when it crossed the center line, ran off the road and became airborne, flipping end over end.

The victim, Randall R. Albertson, 51, from Ninevah, died at the scene.

The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
