Jury: David Sanders guilty in quadruple shooting

INDIANAPOLIS -- An Indianapolis man was found guilty Thursday in a 2015 quadruple shooting that left two men dead.

David Sanders, 27, was accused in a shooting during a dice game at a house in the 400 block of North Beville Avenue in November 2015.

Police arrived to find four men shot, as well as dice and money scattered around the house.

Two of those men – 22-year-old Thomas Stewart and 24-year-old Jonte Johnson – died of their injuries.

Two other men, Dontae Shield and Clarence Sanders, were also charged in the shooting. A jury found them both not guilty of all charges.

A sentencing hearing for Sanders was scheduled for May 6.
