RUSSIAVILLE, Ind. – A Howard County police department is fighting for one of its officers and asking the community to join in. The fight is for an officer who has been given just months to live, but who, all the same, is still wagging his tail and reporting to work.
That officer is K9 officer Kayos, who has been with the Russiaville Police Department since he was 7 months old.
