KNIGHTSTOWN — As cleanup continues around central Indiana from this past weekend's storms, people living in Knightstown are are picking up the pieces, too.
The Knightstown youth league ballpark was under three feet of water from recent storms, which meant a lot f clean-up was needed. Volunteers have been working long hours to clean up the ballpark to get it ready to finish the season and for All Star Tournaments that start July 11th.
The concession stand had several freezers destroyed and food, candy, and drinks had to be thrown away.
Knightstown Youth Sports Board President Guy Louks says that if you'd like to help, the ballpark could use gift cards from Sam's Club and monetary donations to buy cleaning supplies.
