Kokomo, Hamilton Heights football players canceled game to help clean up tornado damage

KOKOMO, Ind. – Instead of playing in the highly-anticipated football game at Lucas Oil Stadium, Kokomo High School canceled their game to help clean up the community hit by severe weather Wednesday.

The city of Kokomo was heavily damaged after an EF3 tornado with wind speeds of 152 miles per hour ripped through the town.

Hamilton Heights High School football players drove up to Kokomo to join in on the cleanup efforts.
