KOKOMO—On the day he was supposed to go on trial for a 2016 beating death, Trevor Bean decided to plead guilty to one of the charges he faces.
Bean was arrested in late-2016 for the death of 60-year-old Paul Andreas during what police described as a home invasion at the victim's South Webster Street home.
Andreas was beaten to death with a baseball bat, according to the Kokomo Police Department.
Howard County court records indicate Bean is pleading guilty to a charge of Robbery Resulting in Serious Bodily Injury.
His sentencing is scheduled for December 13.
