INDIANAPOLIS — A popular Indianapolis museum is here to stay.
The Kurt Vonnegut Library tweeted Thursday that it raised its goal of $1.5 million to pay for a permanent home at the corner of Indiana Avenue and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Street.
The museum's lease expired at a building on Senate Avenue in Feburary. Currently, part of the collection is at a pop-up museum at Circle Center Mall.
Vonnegut died in 2007. He was an author, satirist and World War II veteran.
