LAFAYETTE—A Lafayette man will likely spend the rest of his life in prison for murdering his wife.

According to Tippecanoe County Prosecutor Patrick Harrington, 52-year-old Patrick Elliott was sentenced to 75-years by a Superior Court Judge, Thursday.

His wife, 47-year-old Donita Elliott, was shot to death at the couple's Lafayette home in August of 2017.
