LAFAYETTE, Ind. – The Moss family has participated in the Mini Marathon many times – but this year’s race will have a special meaning as the couple will not only fight to cross the finish line, but battle two cancer diagnoses along the way.
Last February, Michael Moss was diagnosed with Stage 4 stomach cancer. Just months later June Moss – Michael’s wife – was also diagnosed with ovarian cancer.
The couple with two young children said despite their health complications, they will continue to fight.
“You know we have two young children and you just fight for everything you can. Fight for life that's what we do,” said Michael.
