WHITE COUNTY -- A Logansport man is arrested for fleeing the scene of an accident in White County that left two people dead.
The accident happened on October 11, 2015 at SR 16 and CR 1100 East.
Investigators with the White County Sheriff's Department say the driver of a pickup involved in the accident left the scene before emergency personnel arrived.
The driver of the car, 48-year-old Debrah Barkas of Idaville, and her passenger, 13-year-old Hanna Ohrt of Idaville, were killed.
Authorities say Austin Warren, 22, was arrested Monday on two counts of failure to remain at the scene of an accident resulting in death.
His bond was set at $50,000 cash.
Warren remains in the White County Jail.
