LOGANSPORT, Ind. -- Logansport police were investigating Thursday night after a K-9 officer bit a 16-year-old girl waiting for her school bus.
Police said the girl was playing with the dog, named "Bronco," on the porch of his owner's house when she realized her bus was coming.
When she left, the dog got out of his kennel, jumped on her and bit her.
The teen's mother had to pull Bronco off of her and wait inside a car until police could show up.
Police said they believe the dog was just following its obedience training. There were no plans to put the dog down.
