PENDLETON — The amazing thing is, no one was hurt.
You would never have thought that was the case after viewing the video of a train-truck crash in Pendleton at East Madison Avenue and State Road 67 on Friday.

For some reason, the semi became stuck on the tracks at a crossing as a freight train approached.
The truck driver managed to get out before the train slammed into it, pushing the cab well down the tracks. Both the train and the cab caught fire.
All of this left a mess, which was cleaned up by the Pendleton Fire Department and the Indiana Department of Environmental Management.
And again, there were amazingly no injuries.
