ANDERSON — A woman died Thursday night in a single-vehicle crash in Anderson, police said.
Madison County Sheriff's Department deputies responded to the crash shortly after 9 p.m., according to a news release.
The woman was driving a 2014 Honda Civic northbound in the 1600 block of South Rangeline Road when she went off the east side of the road and struck a tree.
Medics transported her to St. Vincent Hospital-Anderson where she was later pronounced deceased.
The crash remains under investigation.
