INDIANAPOLIS – Inches of snow and high winds made for a messy drive Tuesday. It also meant a lot of parents were reaching out to us here at RTV6 wondering why their child's school didn't cancel classes. So we went digging for answers.
We went to the largest school district in our state – Indianapolis Public Schools – to find out how officials there determine whether it will be a school day or a snow day.
