MUNCIE, Ind. – A man is in jail accused of raping a girl he kept hopped up on drugs for several days straight. The girls’ mother is also charged in the case.

Investigators say William Chalfant, 29, faces a long list of charges after what they describe as an 8-day binge where he forced a teen to continuously use drugs and raped her.

According to court documents, the teen initially met up with her biological mom and Chalfant to smoke marijuana. From there, the documents claim the two peer pressured the teen into using meth. When they realized she was having an allergic reaction to the meth, they kept her high by injecting her with meth and heroin.

Documents say Chalfant also raped the teen during this time. The girl told investigators that the time is a blur and she does not remember having sex or much of the time. But investigators say they have text messages and photos to prove those things did happen. The girl told them she did remember her that her mother choked her until she lost consciousness.

When the girl was rushed to Ball Memorial Hospital back in August she was reportedly going through withdrawals so bad that they had to put her in the intensive care unit.

Chalfant and the girls’ mother have both been arrested and face several charges related to the crimes including theft and neglect of a dependent. Chalfant is also facing charges for exploitation and rape.
