FISHERS, Ind. – A murder suspect was arrested by US Marshals, near I-69, causing a large traffic backup Friday.
Ricky Davis, 23, was taken into custody on 116th street near I-69, and charged with murder for his alleged involvement in the death of 44-year-old Gary Rees on Sept. 3.
Indianapolis detectives began investigating after officers found Rees lying next to a motorcycle in the 4100 block of Tahoe Court. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Originally, detectives believed the shooting was a result of gang violence, but later discovered that not to be true.
