INDIANAPOLIS -- An Indianapolis man was arrested Monday on multiple warrants following a kidnapping investigation.
Just after 6 p.m. Monday, Indiana State Police received a 911 call about the possible abduction of an adult male. The caller reported a man forced another male inside a truck at gunpoint and then drove away.
The caller followed the suspect vehicle and provided updated information to police.
Officers stopped the vehicle traveling south on I-65 in Johnson County.
During the course of the investigation it was discovered that this was not a random abduction and that the suspect and victim knew one another.
One suspect, 27-year-old James Crittenden, was arrested on warrants for possession of cocaine and conversion. The other occupants of the truck, as well as the victim, were questioned by police and released.
A stolen gun was also recovered from the vehicle.
