INDIANAPOLIS -- A man has been arrested in connection with an attempted robbery near IUPUI's campus last Wednesday.
An alert was issued to students after a break-in at the Lockefield Gardens apartments.
Detectives arrested 27-year-old Riccardo Hutchins on Thursday for burglary with a deadly weapon, robbery and criminal confinement.
It was the third armed robbery at the apartments in the past month.

In December, IUPUI was locked down twice in one day due to armed robberies at Lockefield Gardens.
