WAYNE TOWNSHIP, Ind. -- A man has died after being pulled from the Eagle Creek Reservoir by divers Friday afternoon.
According to the Wayne Township Fire Department, rescue crews were called to the area on Dandy Trail near the area of Rick's Boatyard just before 5 p.m. Friday after someone reported a man had jumped into the water.
Divers were able to pull the man from the water and he was taken to the hospital where he later died.
The Marion County Coroner's Office says the cause of death was drowning. Toxicology test results are still pending.
