INDIANAPOLIS -- An intoxicated man was rushed to the hospital in critical condition Wednesday morning after apparently jumping out of a moving truck near Broad Ripple.
Medics were called to the 6200 block of Evanston Avenue around 3:30 a.m. on a report of an injured person.
They arrived to find a 29-year-old man suffering from an obvious head injury he’d apparently sustained when he jumped out of the bed of a moving truck.
The man was determined to be in critical condition, and was rushed to St. Vincent Hospital for treatment.
Witnesses told police the man was intoxicated at the time he jumped out of the truck.
No criminal charges were filed in the case, and no other injuries were reported.
