INGALLS, Ind. -- A man is dead after he fell into a Madison County creek Tuesday evening.
It happened just before 11 p.m. at Fall Creek off 650W in Ingalls.
A witness told police that the victim, Zachary Sanner, 23, had been acting strangely before he fell into the creek.
Sanner’s body was recovered around 1 a.m. about 100 yards down the river.
Police say anyone who had seen or been with Sanner earlier in the day was interviewed. They do not suspect foul play at this time.
An autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday afternoon.
The death remains under investigation.
