INDIANAPOLIS -- A man was taken to the hospital Friday morning after a shooting on Indianapolis' west side.
A dispatcher with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department said the shooting happened near the 3200 block of Heather Ridge Drive, around 5 a.m.
Police say a man was sitting on a couch when a shot came through the door and hit him in the leg.
He is expected to be OK.
