MADISON COUNTY, Ind. -- A driver was killed in a head-on collision with a semi early Monday morning in Madison County.
The accident happened around 1:00 a.m. on State Road 13 just south of State Road 38.
Deputies say 36-year-old Daniel Rooney of Pendleton was headed south on SR 13 when his car veered into the northbound lane and crashed into the semi.
Rooney was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the semi was taken to an Indianapolis hospital where he's being treated for non-life threatening injuries.
