INDIANAPOLIS—A young Indianapolis man is going to prison for 52 years for a murder that happened last year on the city's east side.

19-year-old Anthony Steele was sentenced Friday in Marion County Criminal Court.

He was convicted last month in the shooting death of 18-year-old Elijah Lacy who was gunned down outside the Crown Liquor store at East 21st Street and North Post Road.

Police said Lacy was shot a number of times and was found dead in a pickup truck. Security video captured the incident.

Steele was arrested a few days later and charged with murder.
