INDIANAPOLIS -- A man was killed Tuesday night in a shooting on the north side.
The shooting happened around 11:30 p.m. near the intersection of 29th Street and Capitol Avenue.
Officers were called to the scene on a report of a gunshot to find a male victim, 27, in serious condition.
He was taken to Methodist Hospital, where he later died. The victim is Cullen Hubbard, 27.
This shooting marked the city's 86th criminal homicide this year, and the ninth in the past seven days.
Two other people were shot and killed in separate incidents Tuesday.

Simon Wills, 34, was fatally shot around 3 a.m. on the 2900 block of North Lasalle Street.
Family members told RTV6 he leaves behind a fiancée and 14-year-old daughter.
Then, around 8 p.m., a man was found fatally shot inside a car at the intersection of 21st Street and Arlington Avenue.
